Silver
International was a tri-yearly newspaper that was started
in 1986 by and for students learning a new language. It
was based at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring,
Maryland, but had subscribers worldwide. English language
learners wrote many of the articles. The paper not only
served as
a way to showcase their English skills,
but also to

us all learn more about each other. Please explore our pages,
which host only a few selections from past issues. Printed issues
were published in November, February, and May of each year. They
were normally published on the Web by June of each school year. Click
